Using up-to-the-minute information from the ACE / DSCOVR spacecraft, along with other data from NOAA and weather from Norway's Meteorological Institute, users can quickly determine if an aurora is visible in the night sky and find the perfect location to set up and watch the northern or southern lights.
If you have a Pebble smartwatch, you can also download the companion watch app to see aurora hunting info on your wrist, and get notifications when an event is predicted to occur.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
* Share icon changed to Android's and map colours + icons changed.
* Back button fixed. Press back twice to exit the app
* Kp forecast page now has blue buttons to make it easier to see date changes
* Tweaked temp on the weather screen to avoid confusion for those who live in areas where the temp goes below 0
* A message and loading bar is now displayed as data is downloaded
* Fixed bug where the app would let you pick invalid values for push notifications
